Healthy New Albany’s races are not just about running or walking. At Healthy New Albany, we care about your well-being, and not just on race day. Our wellness opportunities will provide you with the ability to play an active role in promoting your health by offering state-of-the-art programs that are conducted by our experienced health and medical staff and consultants and with our partners, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Imagine taking a heart-healthy cooking class at Healthy New Albany’s M/I Homes incredible demonstration kitchen. Partake in our extensive offerings of integrative wellness classes such as yoga foundations, Urban Zen, chair yoga and Tai Chi, just to name some programs offered in the Healthy New Albany School of Yoga. Our comprehensive and unique I am Thriving program for cancer survivors is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to partake in fitness activities, specialized cooking classes, lectures, wellness retreats and so much more, all taking place in the 54,000 square foot Heit Center. Farmers market that supports 45+ local farmers and provides fresh offerings to over 1000 residents and neighbors weekly throughout the summer.

Community garden that provides fresh, local produce to community members and food pantry clients.

Summer meals that serve 170 students in the New Albany Plain Local School District.

"I Am Thriving" cancer survivorship program that impacts women throughout Central Ohio.

Wellness programs for seniors through Healthy New Albany’s Senior Connections program.

After-school nature programs for children that provide educational activities in nature!

English Language Learning (ELL) programs that have assisted 45 food pantry clients in learning English, a path to self-sufficiency.

Lunch & Learn events that address critical public health issues and provide resources on topics such as diversity and mental health.

Integrative wellness programs for people of all ages including meditation, Tai Chi, and yoga.

Race events that help keep thousands of individuals healthy through physical activity.
